Here; Somewhere

By Tyler Majer

Dedicated to a few choice friends

“Today, your love eats rivers”

I told a friend

But then I hid

In the middle of a sunflower’s eye

Audacious autumn

(Spring?)

Drops into the

Tarred and feathered hands

Of an apparition

The lines below her fingers

Cracked

Like how an apple

Peels then cascades

Down – ?

                 Down – ?

                                  Down –

A silicone beam

A Wet Dream

Green Tea and

Jasmine

-GO-

A gravel road

(Crackles)

& A sand pit

(Scrapes)

Related somehow

Distant cousins, maybe

Who (?)

Hold

Grains

That enter grooves of

folded skin

And fodder

Specks of dust

Two-step their way

Through columns of light,

Then settle down

As the eye catches a glimpse

“It’s kind of beautiful

Who we end up missing”

I said to a friend

But then I hid again

In the middle of a Jester’s eye

Light shines ‘pon my back

Circling the fire around my mouth

Ash exhaled

And

Tubes that float

Dangle

                        High–

                                                            High—

                                                                                                –High–

The blue embellishment

Of our desires

Laughing

Echoes

Pulse

Pumping

The precursor

To precarious impulsivity

And some sort of embodiment

Of pain

“You’re a chef of the Green”

I said to a friend

Not sure if I meant Fiddler’s

Or golfer’s

I didn’t hide

Growth resides

Here; Somewhere
